help with memorex DVD burner
i bought a Memorex DVD/+-DVDR/+-DVDRW/CDR/CDRW DUAL LAYER about 6 months ago and it was running fine but a week ago i replace my power supply and i learned an old CDR drive i have from 98 (hahahahah ghetto) was shorting it out and causing my drivers to disappear in Window explorer i unplugged the ribbon and power cable and started running the one drive. i reformatted the maching and put windwos XP and all my normal DVD burning programs back on it, but now when i try to burn movies in Nero Express 6 it transcodes everything and when it goes to burn it an error comes up and closes the program. I actually got one to burn and it came out just playing black but the menu on the DVD shows up just not the movie. Any suggestion on how to fix this Memorext being the great company they are has absolutely no drivers to support this product they have sold me.......that i have found anyway. thanks for the help.

Hi abstract welcome to wd forums.
Can you get anymore precise than 'an error' ? Nero is generally pretty revealing in its error messages if we can get the full details .
