C drive icon loss in my computer folder
when i click it it opens and the c drive icon is not there A drive and d drive shows and dial up and the rest is there what happens now ?/ help help

Ok so it booted to let you get this far, which would indicate that there is something on your c drive somewhere, so that's good.
What happens if you start windows in 'safe mode' (press 'f8' lots just as winows starts & you should get a startup list) can it 'see' the contents of c: then ?
(btw you had another thread open recently, is this one 'connected' ? That was for a missing driver, what I 'really' want to know about is just what you were 'up to' before this/these events started happening ..)

loss c icon
well the missing driver is back by folowing the info given it work just right.
the my computer on the desk top when i click it it opens all the rest shows up but not the c icon the c drive works and everything else . it just does not show up in there.
i reinstall win 98 thanks for the help.

You can turn off the c icon using tweakui... and turn it on again
