    Deleted Sound Device...

    Ok sorry but I accidently removed realtek audio 97 from my add/remove programs on the control panel. I don't have access to the disc to restore it and was wondering if there was another way I could restore my sound devide?

    I have an e-machines Windows XP Home Edition 2.60 Intel Ghz Celeron Processor. Not sure if more info is needed =/. Thanks.

    Welcome to Windrivers ohnoes

    The emachine model number would be good... realtek do a few codecs and they don't play nice if you try one and then another..

    If you know your model you can click here for emachines support Fill in the 3 drop down boxes (page refreshes and shows the next box) Then select downloads. Your sound might be described simply as AC97 rather than realtek.
