    Msn Messenger 7.0 Not Responding After Login

    Hi,

    I'm using Win2000 Prof w/ SP4. Since 2 weeks ago, I've trouble login to MSN Messenger 7.0. After login to MSN Messenger, it just hang there. Task Manager shows MSN Messenger Not responding.

    My PC is loaded with Office2003.

    Not sure what has been change recently on my system.

    I've tried un-install MSN Messenger and re-install but same issue.

    Have tried my login on another PC(XP SP2) which has MSN Messenger7.5 and it works.

    Hope someone can enlighten me on my Win2000 PC issue.

    Have you tried downloading a new version of msn?

    MSN 7.0 is already the latest for Win2000.

    MSN 7.5 is only for Win XP.

    No I meant download msn again and install it again... it should overwrite the faulty files.

    Done that. It did not work.

    I've just upgraded my OS from W2K to XP. Upgrade MSN to 7.5 and surprising it works now.
