i deleted the drivers on my soundcard...

Hi. I have a Windows 2000. I was removing files off my pc and when I had turned it back on there was no sound coming out of my speakers. I tested my speakers and they work perfectly. So I must had removed a sound device or something as I was eliminating files. WILL SOMEBODY HELP ME GET MY SOUND BACK. DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING TO GET IT BACK? BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY KILLING ME..

You need to tell us more about your computer, what make, motherboard, OS, and any error messages it might have given you.

If you do not know what your computer brand/model is then download everest home here and run it. Then post what it says about your motherboard please.

Do you know how to use device manager? (right click my computer, properties, hardware tab, device manager button) Are there any devices that are ? unknown or ! have a problem? If so what do they say and if ! what is the error message on the properties of the ! device.

We need more info, like what computer, what sound card, what operating system.
