How to change the way Windows boot?

How do you remove the network boot up sequence in WIndows XP?

With ME, its easy. I can't seem to locate the correct place to change the way windows boot up.

THe computer is running Windows XP Pro and is set network boot up. User name and password (empty) is asked during start. How do I remove this and boot directly into Windows?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what you want ; to get shut of the welcome screen, you
..Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click User Accounts.. Click Change the way users log on or off.. Click to select the Use the Welcome screen for fast and easy logon check box ..
& if you are asking about how to get rid of it asking for a network password (as you are no longer, or this machine isn't, a part of a domain), you also need to right click your actual connection, & find & change the box which has 'Client for Microsoft Networks ' to (I think the wording is ) 'windows family' .. (you must also make sure your machine is set to be a part of a workgroup already & not in a domain or this mayn't work )

    Thanks Confus-ed.

It is the second one. THe computer acts as if it is part of a network but it is actually a stand alone PC. I've trying to locate the "Clients for Microsoft Network" part.

    Thanks

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
