Question MS6330 VER:2.1 and supported video cards...

Hello all! ... I have an old computer (5 years makes it pretty ancient!) running on Windows ME *shudder*, AMD Athlon 1 Ghz processor, 256MB RAM and a crappy video card nVidia Vanta AGP 16MB. My monitor is a Gateway EV700. With those out of the way, my motherboard is the MS6330 VER:2.1. I am wanting to upgrade my video card for obvious reasons but am unsure how new of a card I can get without making my motherboard taking a huge crap on itself. Please help a computer illiterate person! Thank you in advance!

Do you know what kind of AGP slot it has 4x 8x?
    *if it has one*
And what kind of wattage does your Power supply have?

It's a sad, sad card... I don't think it has the 4x 8x AGP (well, the card itself just says AGP. LOL) And as far as power supply wattage stuff, don't know where to look... :S

Where can I look to find out what AGP slot it has? Like, can I tell what AGP slot it has by looking on the computer or taking the side of the computer off and looking at the hardware? If that's the case, where would that be? LOL I'm sorry... I'm such a n00b!

That does look a lot like mine, only mine is green. But that one is the same thing as a MS6330 VER:2.1 motherboard? The specs of that K7 one look a hell of a lot like mine, too. lol Must be the equivalent? Anyway, so what does this one AGP 4x slot mean in terms of video cards, purchasing, etc?

I swear by this place. This link will take you to the video card section and you can choose from all teh lists what special properties the video card needs to have 4x or 8x agp for example.
the AGP will be found under teh interface option.

just make sure you choose one that says 4x compatible . So in the name it should say 4x/8x compatible and if it has a special power supply need it should recomend a certain Wattage.

Oh! Another question, I understand the 256MB memory thingy on the video card, but what does, say, 256bit mean?
