Cant Boot From Hdd!!
hi...
The probs is that the hdd won't boot normally. i had check the bios boot and selected the IDE-0 to be the 1st boot. but when normal start up the system run n identified the ide-0 found but cant boot. and a message appears state Disk Error press ctrl+Alt and delete.
wat should i do.....

Shaffir,
It sounds like your PC has lost the boot block - all I can suggest really is a system reinstall.

If your using XP, put in your install disk. go to recovery console and do
c:\FIXMBR
that will repair the Master Boot Record without you needing to reinstall

If the harddrive has died that wont fix it
Repair install may benessecary

Cant read HDD!!
Hi guys..
i had tried to boot from the cd-rom and made a new fresh installation. it works but while i had installed Microsoft Xp office, it completes the installation but an error appears statimg that the installation was aborted. but when i click the word on xp it works.
then tried to install other soft ware but and error message keep pop up stating that the Micsoft Xp office is not completed....
what should i do....
