    Help please

I have been trying to located a bios update for HP Pavilion 9905 Desktop computer. The bios is Phoenix 4.0 Release 6 Revision 3.03. It was supposed to be located on the HP website but is not. Any suggestions as to where it can be found?

If your machine is running fine its best you stick with the bios installed.

I don't know why you say it isnt available on the HP website..you just have to determine if youhave the Bermuda/BoraBora boards or the Amazon board..the bios updates are halfway down the page here HP does not list bios updates by the bios manufacturer, but by the motherboard name

Warning: Flashing wrong BIOS (not designed for your motherboard) can make your MB not booting anymore.

This page can help you to identify your HP motherboard (as two completely differerent motherboards were used for the same HP Pavilion 9905 )

You can locate motherboard's model name printed between slots - open the case of your PC and you'll see it...
