DirectNic instead of hotmail/symantec
I have a client which had win98 and every time he went to hotmail.com or symantec he got DirectNic hompage (although the address bar address was hotmail or symantec).
He is connected to the net via edimax router and cable modem.
I've reformated his computer and installed XP PRO, and the problem is still the same.
The only way i managed to "overcome" the problem is configuring his IE6 to use his ISP proxy server to surf the web.
I've tried ms antispyware and S&D and even NIS 2006, but with no success...
Any suggestion ?

Well then, what's wrong with that ? If this is curing it, its something to do with order of resolution, which may be outside your control..
