    Unhappy no sound..Help

    i recently reformatted my pc but now when i try to play music it says i need a audio mixing device what do i do?

    Welcome to the forums, Did your mother board come with a Driver CD? And post teh model of your motherboard if you know it or can find it.

    Failing that download and install Everest at this link

    Install it run it and find out what it says about the sound card.
    Usually found under Multimedia , then windows audio or pci/pnp audio
