IE Information Bar Problems
Hi,
I'm trying to run SAS tutorials that use the IE browser as a delivery mechanism. The problem is that the tutorials have active X contect inbedded in their files. I get the following message from the browser: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options...
I have all active x options enabled, I have all download options enabled and I do not show the information bar when a pop up is blocked. All of this and I still get these darn messages. Anybody know how to get IE to be not so helpful?
Thanks

If you are running it over a LAN, go to IE Security Settings, Custom Levels and Allow ActiveX content to be viewed.

thanks but that wasn't the problem. (and I am running over a lan) The solution is under the advanced tag. you need to check box that says to allow active content from files run on my computer. Thanks for the try
