Unable to open IE links from programs
Anytime I try to open a link from a program (example, clicking on the link on CCleaner for the update) it opens a blank IE page with no text in the body or any address in the address field. I've tried changing some settings from the advance menu in IE options, but nothing I have tried has work. I'm curretnly using windows XP home edition w/ SP1. I'm using IE 6 sp1. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this.
BTW, this happens on any programs I click on a internet link. Also, I really want to avoid adding SP2. I know there is a possibility this could fix it, but SP2 causes problems with a few programs I run on the internet and I know this can work without SP2 as this is the first time I've seen this happen. Also as another note this happen right after I reloaded windows (format and installation).
Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried another browser and as far as sp2 and your other programs not running with it have you checked to see if there are any updates for the programs to run with sp2? Sp2 is important for you to install if at all possible.
