PCI Firewire Card Code 10? (Device Cannot Start)
Hello, new here.
I have just purchased and tried to install a PCI firewire card into my Vista computer. The card is a Rosewill NEC PCI card RC-502.
It goes through the auto hardware installation, but says it was unsuccessful. When I go to Device Manager, the card is listed as "NEC OCHI IEEE 1394 Host Controller" but has an exclamation point next to it. Instead of it saying working, it says "The device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Windrivers ratherGroggy
Code 10 means that Windows can't find enough resources to make the card go... unfortunately it also means that the nec chipset may not be compatible with your computer...
You have 2 pci slots on that motherboard... have you tried changing the slot?
