Well when I got the drive I know I used it a few times to burn cd's but it wouldn't work EVERY time now it won't read cd-rs at all either blank or not. The drive will just spin and spin and spin and sometimes will stop spinning but never reads anything...My other drive reads everything that the samsung won't. And the times it does stop spinning I will load up nero and try to burn a cd real quick and it asks me to insert an empty disk...But the disk is always a brand new cd-r. Please help! The drive came installed in the computer which I got from ibuypower.com in like late feburary. The computer is exaclty how I got it except I doubled the RAM from 512 to 1gb I added the ati 9600 xt, and the soundblaster audigy 2 zs. I only put the back peice in not the peice in the front with the infrared for the remote and all that cause I have a door that will not allow it and I am just bad at drive installing and removing (well never tried it before really) Oh yeah if I left anything you guys might need out from the info tool thing Let me know. ANd yeah it burns dvd's and reads them and audio and game cd's.
