driver problem with Microtek 350 camera
i am having a problem installing Microtek Take it 350 camera for Win XP. after installing, i get a Blue Screen of Death with message abt. file SVC680.dll causing a problem when I try to shut down the system.

Have you tried Microtek's website for your Take It 350?

Your User's Guide is available for download.
If you click on the link to Download Current Drivers, WinXP is not listed. They do have drivers listed for Win2000. Sometimes you can use those in WinXP but no guarantees there.
Some Microtek digital cameras are readily detected in Macintosh (e.g. OS 9, OS 10) and Windows (e.g. Windows 2000, XP) operating systems without the need for external drivers. For more information, please read the camera user guide or visit the Take-it 350 Support Options page.
As a last resort, you might try contacting their Tech Support from one of their links posted there.
If you get it working in WinXP, please post your workaround here so that we might all learn something.
