Internet Explorer slow
Internet Explorer seems to be going slow I have XP and Internet Explorer 6 and do delete temp files and cookies regularly. I'm on Dial-Up but it seems to be much slower of late. Can someone help?

Have you used any spyware scanning programs?
Spybot?
Adaware?
Done an online virus scan ?

I have a clean system just run Adaware came up with nothing

I hate to tell you this but adaware isnt nearly enuff to say you have a clean system.
I would use spybot and i would also try a free trial of one of the others.
Like counterspy or Ewido
Unfortunately spyware/crapware has become so bad that no one program is ever enuff

Sorry I meant to say yes I have Norton firewall and anti-virus and use Spybot too, but I use Dial Up.

Norton internet security is likely 1 cause of the pc being slow
What system and ram have you got ?
