    I Broked Me Toe

I wass getting out of bed earlier to get Kahleah a bottle and before i could turn on the light I tripped over a washing basket of clothes to be folded that I had earlier placed on the ground next to my bed (and forgot about). I went flying and in order not to smack my face into the brickwork I ended up falling and kicking the bedside table as i went down.

It hurt for a few minutes badly as I danced around doing a most bizzare dance yelling ow ow ow and then it went numb. I gingerly touched it and the pain shot up my leg.

Now its 430 am and my toe has woken me up. Its about four times its normal size and the pain is, well suffice to say that for a tiny toe it sure does radiate some agony. Its also bent sideways and even my foot is swollen well away from the toe. It looks so weird. Its so hard to walk, is amazing how we rely on toes really.

It hurts so bad and I can't sleep and my babies will be all waking up in two hours expecting me to wander around cleaning up and making breakfast...oh and I was supposed to mow the lawn later today too.. and take the kids for a drive

So yeah, thought I'd let you all know, I broke my toe

and yeah I'm whinging cos it fecking hurts so bad........I've had 6 kids and none of them ever hurt this bad.. well ok maybe I've sorta forgotten that pain.. but this is excrutiating.....

    That sucks

I broke my toe a couple years ago when I dropped a Laser Printer on it. It has never been the same since. I still get some slight pain in it now and then. I now wear steal-toe shoes at work. I feel your pain. Hope it heals well.

ouch, sorry to hear it May. After a few accidents, I started wearing those steel-toe shoes myself.

Hope you feel better, I learned the hard way, not matter what size the bone, they all take a long time to heal....

Drop a dartboard on the toe, break it and ON TOP OF THAT have to have the toenail extracted!
Only then have you known true pain

And yes, that happened to me!!

I trust you contacted a doctor. I doubt the toe can be cast, but the doc might prescribe some pain meds.

Foot damage is painful! Not least because you still need to move around...

I dropped a hydraulic car jack on my foot once, it was about 6 months before I stopped getting pain from that.

Stubbed my left little toe so hard a few years back that the nail broke off almost at the cuticle. It eventually grew back again, but slightly mis-shapen and not real secure.

    Hope you recover soon Mayet.

    Broken toe

Dropped a piece of cast iron on my left foot with steel cap in shoe. It fell behind the steel cap and smashed my foot. I had to have reconstructive surgery done. I now have a built in weather forcaster. It hurts when weather changes. That was in 1987, by the way.

Never broke a bone, ever, so can't say I know what you're going through but it sounds quite painful.

Time to sit back with a cold one and have others pamper you for a change now.
