    Sound device drivers

    Ok, I'm having a little problem with my computer. Googled motherboard number and got this site. Anyway, about a year ago my computer was attacked by a virus, it corrupted my HD, had to format and reinstall Windows XP SP2. After that, my intergrated audio and video didn't work. I got video drivers from a friend but can't seem to find audio drivers for it anywhere. I'm running an eMachines and motherboard number is K8MC5IG. Anyone know what I should do?

    Welcome to Windrivers WilliamB

    Your emachine motherboard runs one of two realtek drivers click here then go an make some coffee while the fic ftp page loads. Try the 655 directory first... then use the up and back keys to navigate back to where you were and download the other.

    If you need any help installing, post again.

    When I click on the link, it asks for a username and password. I tried the Log on anonymously but it doesn't work. What should I do now? Thanks for the welcome also. It's appreciated along with your help.

    You rock! Finally I have audio and even better graphics again! The drivers I was using for my video were old..thanks a bunch

    I am having this same problem. I have everything working except for the sound. What is the login so that I can download the driver for this?
