Hello Isunecli and welcome to Windrivers.

I have gone through some of the forums and found the one below worth try.

    Link is: http://www.mcse.ms/archive212-2005-10-1789556.html

Procedure if there is no capture at all:
    1. Plug in camcorder to computer VIA firwire/1394. , but turn camcorder
    power OFF.

    2. Download and install patch "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885222/" -
don't listen to the instructions - just install patch. and NO RESTART!

    3. Go to START>RUN> and type "regedit".

    4. scroll to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENTCONTROLLSET/ENUM/.

    5. Right-Click the PCI folder and select FIND.

    6. type in "sidspeed" and and hit ENTER

    7. in the right window you should double-click "SidSpeed" - change the value
to 3. Hit OK and exit and then FILE> EXIT.

    8. Turn on the camcorder in VCR mode. Start playing the DV tape. Start
restarting your computer. Leave the camcorder running all throughtout the
process. When the computer boots up, click on MY COMPUTER. You should see an
icon with your comcorder on it. Double click on this icon. Do you see video?
If so, EXCELLENT!. if not, continue on.........
    ONLY IF NOT WORKING CONTINUE...
Change the REGEDIT, SIDspeed value to 1. Restart with same process of camera
being on and going to MY COMPUTER

This is a fix that rolls back to the XP SP1 drivers:
    http://forums.wugnet.com/modules.php...order-Problem-
It has worked for me in all instances.

A lot of discussion at this url:
    http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messa...91/153450.html

You have many options, some you have tried already with the advice of people above.

There are some additional things mentioned at the site I linked - try those also.

"Thought I'd post this seeing as though theres a bit of confusion about JVC video transfers. I Just bought a DV Camera (GR-D70). When you read most JVC user manuals from the website, or hard copy it states that video (stored on tape) can be transferred to a PC using a USB cable. This is incorrect. You need to use a IEEE1394 Firewire cable to transfer the video. USB cable (as thetaxidriver stated) can only transfer data from a memory card. Secondly it states that you can also use a USB cable for webcam streaming. Wrong again, a firewire cable (and card) is required. You also do not need any drivers for firewire connected cameras, because this is the job of the firewire card. Drivers are only needed for some USB connected cameras. OK!
