Help please!!!!
I have a Samsung TS-H552B All of the sudden it will not burn or recognize a blank CD-R I think I see the problem I just dont know how to fix it. In the info tool look at the location it is 0 (0). It is also the master not the slave I dont think that location is right is it? Please help.

Your master is your DVD Burner and your slave is the CD-ROM. That does not make a difference. The locations seem right with your DVD Burner being 0 and your CD-ROM being 1. I can at least tell you that.
I am guessing it is a few years old?

What's on D ? & do you have any idea how come you apparently have 3 'IDE adapters' ? - normally you'd only have two entries here, one for the primary channel IDE{wire} & another for the secondary channel IDE {wire} - a third means either we have some add in cards you haven't told us about, or that something isn't working as it should be ...
Can you boot from a cd ? (see the sticky at the top of this forum, 'cd boot test') & can you read cd/dvd's from inside windoze ? (as its none so clear from what you put) - can I also have some details about what motherboard this might be on ? Chipset details can be most helpful
