Heh, years ago we had a pet lamb that lived on the vacant next door lot, kept the grass down. At times wild paddy melons would grow, useless.

When the sheep needed to be shorn, a shearer friend brought his portable shearing gear and shore the sheep, which was highly indignant at this treatment... When released it immediately ran to the far corner of the lot, stood with its back to us and ate an entire paddy melon.

It was hilarious, just like a kid saying "Well I'm going to go and eat worms!"

You sure it wasn't a Musk Melon, instead? Both are quite good and virtually identical, but, as my food fanatic son used to point out, there is a vast conspiracy to sell Musk Melons as Cantaloupes.
I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.

I just had a bacon sandwich,Wrapped in bacon, with extra bacon.

    5'10" 175 pounds 54 years old and I look 60.

    Bacon makes you age fast.

Maybe that's why my cholesterol is 238.

I only believe in natural foods and animal fat is natural.

I once had a girfriend whose grandmother had a cat who only ate bacon. Surprisingly, it was 17 years old when I saw it and not so surprisingly was as big around as a cantaloupe. So I ate it for dessert.
