    Smart and friendly went bust long ago
    You don't need drivers, you need a burning program - you can get a basic free one at www.deepburner.com
    The other thing to note is that the burning software must be compatible with the burner. This is a very old burner so should be on most burning software lists.

    What windows are you using?
    I assume this is an internal drive... or is it an external connected to the parallel port?
    Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
