LCD Monitor Repair Books / manuals??

Hello,
I just wondering if anyone here repairs LCD monitors... I'm getting alot more customer's / clients that need them repaired, and I'm sick of sending them elsewhere to get then repaired. I just checking if there's any online troubleshooting guides as well as decent \ credible parts vendors that you know of?

Yes, I repair them. Its easy if its lights or inverters. The screens themselves are not worth it.

Lights are about 12 bucks.

inverters 60-90 bucks.

It really depends on the monitor.

I will take it to the gun range this summer. I feel the need to do .45 caliber HDD stress testing.

The real problem with most monitor repair is that you can replace it cheaper than you can fix it. Call it $70 for an inverter, plus freight and labor. You can buy a decent 19" LCD for about $200. Do the math.

ok. 200-70=130 bucks saved.

Thats some pretty good math in my book. Besides decent 19 LCD's go for a bvit more...expecially if you want to game on them.

My goal is to save bad LCD's from going in the trash, reviving them myself and getting new LCD's for the price of a replacement part.
