ATI X1300: When using 2 screens, both go off in Windows

I just got a PCI-E ATI Radeon X1300 and if I plug both my DVI LCD and VGA projector, both displays work during start up, including the Windows XP screen with the blue moving things, but as soon as it gets into windows, both displays say "no signal" and turn off. If I boot with only the DVI LCD, it works fine.

How can I get my projector to also work? Or can you only use one at a time (I highly doubt this)?

    Thanks

OK, I manged to get a single to both from within windows, but I can't get the same signal out both ports, is this possible? I want the same signal going to both monitors, not extended desktop or any of those things.

Is there a control in the drivers control panel to choose the mode of the second display, eg; clone. There is in a Nvidia panel but I'm not sure about ATI, I would think there would be some way of changing the way a second monitor displayed.

Yes the Catalyst Control Centre will have a clone option, not being an ATI user, I can't offer much help on how differing resolutions and refresh rates will be accommodated.

Sorry, turns out I had accidentally installed the basic drivers where none of those options are available, after installing the complete drivers, I was able to select clone and both displays stay on as it starts windows.

    Thanks
