Need to add 1366x768 resolution
So we have a video conferencing unit here at work using an "electrograph" LCD display (32", I think) and they asked that add a PC to it. I have all that working but the resolutions look crappy.
I can't seem to find drivers for the LCD and the best I can use is 800x600.
Any ideas on how to add a custom resolution to the list of available choices?!?

I know when comes to video cards and HDTVs (which also use 1366x768 resolution) you need to get the appropriate drivers to do that. For example my NVidia card did not have those resolutions available until I installed the Windows Media Center Driver for the video card. Otherwise you may only get the standard ones like 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc...
What is the monitor listed as under display properties? If it is listed as generic LCD or something like that then you can try to see if there is a driver for your monitor which may allow Windows to have that resolution available. If you can get the model number maybe some of us can help look for an appropriate driver for what version of Windows you are using.

This site mentions that monitor near the bottom of page:

The LEEZA interface mentioned would allow you to set the resolution from what he says.
This site reviews it also: http://www.emedialive.com/Articles/R...ArticleID=4822
You will note the price is HIGH!

I think I would simply contact the company that made the monitor (see my earlier post) and ask about drivers.
ps: the one ad I saw for that monitor showed the native resolution as what you want to set it at so I wonder why it won't accept that?

Thanks for the info guys but what I meant was if there was a way to add a custom resolution in Windows.
I'm using Windows XP w/ SP2 and Windows sees it as a Plug and Play monitor. Think it may work if I force Windows to see it as an LCD monitor?
And the model is DTS32LTD

That unit is supposed to have VCA and DVI inputs so I would have thought that a 'better' video card would have allowed for various settings.
I would just configure as standard plug and play and try it.
