ASUS A8V-MX realtek onboard sound issues

i recently upgraded my system and got a new motherbaord i launched everything worked fine except the mic ports didnt seem to work, although occasionally they did :S. the headphone ports were fine and the speaker port didnt work at all. After upgrading the realtek drivers the mics worked fine, but still my speaker port is not working.

i just get the powers "buzz" when i plug my speakers up.

Other than these drivers i have done little else to the computer to do with the sound. Its getting a little anoying listening to music via headphones all the time so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like maybe the onboard jumpers for the sound may be in the front audio position.
Just a guess on that. Check the manual for the jumper positions.
