    Exclamation windows xp pro instal problem

    hi i got a windows xp pro instal problem


    when i am trying to update win 98 to xp pro he works

    after rebooting and he is doing 1 more fing for hes gonna instal (my eng is noot so good) and then h wont do nofing


    can somboddy help me?

    Your best bet is to do a fresh install of XP. If your 98 was having problems the upgrade will also.
    Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.

    i did the fresh install of xp but when he ready with instal he will reboot

    and then its ready but then were he have to gifs the logo of xp the screen is black and stays black help me plz?

    Your mobo appears to be a Supermicro P6SBA:

    here is the site to look for your bios and other useful stuff:

    If you mess around that site you'll eventually find this:

    Bios version 3.1 is the last available apparently.

    You will almost certainly want to install the Intel chipset drivers for the 440 chipset - check the chip to determine whether it is the bx or gx or zx:

    i did upgrade the bios and still it wont work
