downloader virus frustration
When ever I connect to the internet my norton pops up telling me that I have the downloader virus. Access to the file is denied and it can't delete it. I try running in safe mode and it won't let me delete it either. It tells me that it is being used by a program or another user. I have tried all of symantecs suggestions and I am getting no where. Please help.[/FONT]

Welcome to windrivers jjacmom. Some of the items I would suggest is to turn off your system restore if you are running XP. I would then do an online scan with something like housecall. Download Spybot, update it, boot into safemode and run it. What OS are you operating on your system, and what spyware removal programs do you have?
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!
