NO ADI codec driver installed
Hi
Recently my soundMAX audio panel decided to stop working, i then tried reinstalling it. once i restarted my pc it said NO ADI CODEC driver, and the whole soundMAX panel, was gone now i cannot run any sound out of my pc. I have an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, which is runs onboard high Definition 7.1 audio. does anyone have any way to help?
thanx

In Add/Remove, remove the Sound Max audio if it shows.
Get out your support cd and re-install your chipset drivers then re-install your ADI1988 audio package.

Welcome to Windrivers grimreaper
You should also check that your sound is not turned off in bios.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
