Question What happened to the Tech News

    Hi,
Does anyone know what happened to the tech news you used to have on the home page?
I used to use it quite a lot.

Gone for good or just a while?

    Thanks

    Thumbs up

    Thanks,
Ah, so its you folks feeding the headlines.
Well, it must be my old version of Firefox that is unable to cope with the homepage.
It all displayed on my long forgotten IE.
I'll probably have to upgrade Firefox

Hello Optimizer, I use Firefox also and have no problems viewing the home page, http://www.windrivers.com . Can you post an image of the what you are seeing. Thanks.

    Hi Rich,
    This is Firefox 1.0.8
"I think"? it used to work OK with the page, put hasn't recently (month(s)?).

That's good you have the folks feeding the news articles - I hadn't checked that menu category before.

    Here's the screen print.

You can only scroll down to the eSecurityPlanet news section, and there is nothing after that. It's the same as what you see all the way down to that - no Ad's/news articles etc. It goes into page load mode and doesn't stop - just sits there trying to load.

Thanks for the info. That's odd, I have the same version and that does happen to mine as well but it takes about 5 seconds for the rest of the page to load.

Please do me a favor and give it a try again and see if it doesn't finish loading after awhile. If it takes more than 15 seconds that's too long. If it doesn't load at all that's something I'll have to work on. Thanks again.

    Hi,
    Gave it another go.
It did load, but after about 3 mins.

Again, I think (I'm not entirely sure) it used to load like a regular web page a few months ago. I suppose when it stopped working I figured it was just temporary.

    There you go.

Don't go to any trouble for me - I'm just on it temporarily.
I don't think many people will be using it in another 6 months or so with new OS releases for new Firefoxs to sit on.

    Exclamation

This might give a clue to what's giving the problem. Here's what it sits around trying to load

    "Transfer data from mjxads.internet.com"

    Thumbs down No Firefox

It doesn't appear to work on my Firefox 1.5 either, or other versions.
So it doesn't look like the site works on the Firefox browser.
