OS not found, but I can still get it to boot...

We lost power at my house a few nights ago
and now everytime I turn on this PC I get an OS Not Found error
If I hit F3 when I boot, I can select the primary master and it boots just fine.
This machine is running windows XP pro and I know I could just do a reapir OS,
but I don't really want to.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Have you checked the boot device sequence in the BIOS, the settings might have been corrupted?

Yup, that was the first thing I did.
I think I might have to unhook my second drive,
dvd drive and dvd burner and see if it will boot then.

I just ripped a dvd iso with my dvd drive and am burning it with the burner,
just to make sure everything is still working.
