PC Hardware verification
Does anyone know of a good standalone software that would scan a computer and list the type RAM,CPU etc....?

Intel Mod
It's generally best to use the most recent program you can, Everest from here is the most updated version of OMG's suggestion.
Even so, as it's from late 2005, some recent hardware may not be correctly identified. It's difficult to source free analytical software that is bang up-to-date.
