Flash audio continues after closing browser

This is really annoying, whenever I'm on a page with a flash animtion that has audio, the audio will keep playing even after I close the browser until I reboot.

Is this a common bug? I haven't had this problem before. Is there an exe I can close in task manager or somethign to stop it without rebooting?

    Thanks

Interesting... can you provide links to the sites which do that?

If it's all sites then this won't apply But it sounds like some sites are not killing the stream or are subject to the apparent bug outlined in the comments later.

Clicking the "View Demo" link on the bottom left of this page and then closing the demo window will not stop the music from the demo even after the window is closed:

Is fine in IE6 SP2 as well.

Something quite screwy going on there, have you tried resetting the browser to defaults?

Is it flash or java that you are using or both? Try re-installing your browser, and the other flash-java apps. Have you tried using other browsers?
