You install plate first. it usually goes from outside in. Then the mother board.
Make sure the tabs do not short out usb`s or printer, or any thing else on board. Hopefully that plate came with your mother board. tabs fit around
devices.

When you install a new motherboard, do the tabs on the back fitting (metal plate, printer, video,exc...holes) go in front of the items or behind?? I know this is not a real clear question,
but I have wondered about this for awhile. I usually install the board any way it falls and lands.
Sometimes I cut them all off. Tonight I was cutting these tabs off and decided to take the time to ask and find out the RIGHT way to install this plate.
