My Windows Only Sees 1.5 GB or DDR RAM
.... when it should be 2.512 GB DDR RAM
if youre thinking the mother board is only compatible with 1.5 GB DDR RAM.. YOURE WRONG.. Manual says my PC can work up to 3 GB of DDR RAM..
I have 3 DIMMs
Motherboard system = Asus P4S800
DDR RAM = 1 x 512 (dont know anything else about it but it does work)
2 x 1024 (Ultra PC3200 / 400MHZ)
i dont know if i need to mess with the jumpers or update the bois.
please help! or i wasted 200 bucks!!!

Maybe not...
3 DIMM slots can be filled with up to PC2100 memory to give the 3G maximum capacity. PC2700 or the PC3200 you have can occupy 2 slots for 2G:
"3 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support max. 3GB non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory
(PC2100/PC1600 up to 3 DIMMs; PC3200/PC2700 up to 2 DIMMs; 1GB PC3200/2700 with 32 DDR chips up to 1 DIMM only)"
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...06&modelmenu=2
This is a limitation of some memory controllers. Try using just the two 1G PC3200 DIMMs, if this gives you 2G, that's the best you'll get unless you drop to PC2100 memory. (And I'd stick with the 2G of faster memory & sell the 512M... )
If you still don't register 2G, eg only get 1GB, try with only one of the PC3200's. If this works OK with 1G appearing, then the third condition mentioned above applies, the density is wrong - 1GB PC3200/2700 with 32 DDR chips up to 1 DIMM only.

What Playtpus is showing you is a limitation per slot on certain speeds
One thing i have used in some of these cases if the actual speed is not important.
IE:2100,2700,3200
set the chips you have in there to 2100 and boot and see if it reads all the ram
