AC'97 installation trouble
Hi there I'm having problems with installation for my sound card drivers.
I recently rebooted my system due to system problems and after rebooting my computer everything worked fine, but everytime I try to install Realtek AC'97 drivers my computer restarts itself before it finishes installation and this is the message when I send an error report:
Problem caused by Windows (R) WDM driver for Realtek AC'97 (ALCXWDM.SYS)
This problem was caused by Windows (R) WDM driver for Realtek AC'97 (ALCXWDM.SYS). This program was created by Realtek Semiconductor Corp.. Realtek Semiconductor Corp. does not currently have a solution for the problem that you reported.
I have tried several times with different versions with the same outcome.
I have briefly looked around these forums but have not found a solution but I have done what people have suggested with everest!

Welcome to Windrivers BoozerMan
Where did you get the drivers? From Packard Bell? You see your sound is an Intel AC97 (your network is realtek though)
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
