[RESOLVED] PCI IDE Controller stopped recognizing HDD.
I had installed a CompUSA (PCI) IDE ATA133 controller in my Dimension 2400. It run for a coupe of months and then it stopped detecting my hard drive. I pulled the HDD out, put in an external enxlosure, and hooked it up to my laptop. The file system was totally screwed up, I had to format. I did that and I returned it to my desktop. After several restarts of the machine it stopped detecting it again. The PCI card is still being detected during startup. I tried different connection combinations, but nothing seems to work.
Anyone has any idea what might be going wrong?
Thanks.
