Yeah - Canada is bending over backwards to prove we are NOT a melting pot society. Today the Premier (Liberal) of Ontario heralded a new 'Chinese Canadian' presence into his cabinet. What such a heralding bodes for Canada I cannot say, but I am going to maintain an attitude of inscrutability until I find out.

Just being a Canadian hasn't been any good since the Chretien years. You can be anything BUT a plain old Canadian, unless of course you are of pale European stock ( never mind how many generations ago ) and speak English only, in which case you are just ignored.

Taxed heavilly mind ya, but ignored all the same.

Still and all, it's a great place to be in these End Times, dontcha know.

Hey Matridom!

Get the Ontario Voodoo hex off my house! I woke up this morning to find the flowers in my garden being buried in snow.

The snow seems to be falling only in about a 12 block radius around my house.
