Domain
Is there a way to clear the domain on SBS 2003 Std and make it a workgroup machine instead? The articles I have read state this cannot be done. The reason I want to clear it is the person who set it up is no longer around, cannot be reached and has totally messed it up. It was a bear getting into it since it was password protected and no one knew the password. Any help appreciated.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

Back up the data, then format....
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

dcpromo will remove AD but you will probably end up with a mess especially as it is SBS. As already stated backup, format and reinstall is probably the route of least resistance.

Thanks everyone, I was afraid it would come to that. Oh well, another couple hours of work.
