    Some funny quotes...

"Linux is only free if your time is worthless"
    -- Anonymous. A different opinion

    Actually, the quote is
"Linux is only free if your time has no value" and it was written by someone called Jamie Zawinski who is the author of Netscape and made large contributions to Mozilla...

Given they got that wrong, I wonder how good the other quotes are?

However, the cleverest there has to be

" Windows 9x is: A 32-bit extension of a 16-bit graphical shell of an 8-bit operating system coded for a 4-bit processor by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition. "
    -- Anon.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

    And there you have it.
If only you knew what's inside of me now,
You wouldn't want to know me, somehow.

CRN: "We've been fortunate. There is nothing that we have undertaken -- with a couple of exceptions like Microsoft Bob that I'll cop to in advance -- where we have decided that we have not succeeded and let's stop," Ballmer said. "We've either succeeded, or we're still telling you we're going to succeed."

    XP with Bob!

Wonder if it will run on Vista?

Never trust a man whom when left alone in a room with a tea cosy doesn't try it on!

I'm not sure that the Office 2007 ribbon isn't the re-incarnation of Bob. Still only really been using 2007 for 2 weeks, and I'm sure I'll master it in my lifetime. or not. My big complaints aren't that the ribbon doesn't provide easy access to many functions, but that it manages to hide virtually all the routine functions I've used day after day for years. But gorsh, it really has pretty pictures and icons and stuff.
