Dimension 3000 ADI codec drivers?
I have a computer that's getting kind of old, but still plays games with the best when you take care of it. It's a dimension 3000 with some obscure intel motherboard I could never find. It uses a SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio chip. I had noticed my sound was getting scratchy, so I uninstalled this driver from device manager. When I reinstalled the newest version (was having problems upgrading, so had to uninstall the old), the computer starts to say things like ADI Codec drivers not found! How do I fix this?

Driver Terrier
Welcome to Windrivers Red Leader79
It sounds like you didn't download the correct new drivers. Where did you get the newer driver from?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
