    Post Tape Backup Quandry

A friend has an old 250 MB tape backup (floppy interface). He needs it to restore some important files. He doesn't have drivers and Windows doesn't have native drivers. He thinks it was made by Eagle, but the only thing resembling a model number or serial number is H0582047. Any ideas?

http://www.exabyte.com/support/onlin...ers_nest95.cfm Give this a try. If it is an eagle it's by exabyte. Hope it works.

    Cool

Go to www.veritas.com and download a trial copy of Backup Exec Pro - it will pick up a LOT of old tape backup drives AUTOMATICALLY even if you don't know what kind of tape drive it is, or the OS does not have native support for it anymore. Plus the trial version will last 30 days so you can get the info off his tapes without forking over $50-100 for the software.
