    Wierd problem, cannot format past 2tb on windows 2003 r2

    Wow been a while......

    I've just built a new fileserver using a Sun 3510 disk array connected to an hp -dl380 g5 server using a fibre channel connection. The array has 12x 300gig drives in a Raid 5 configuration totalling close to 3tb's of disk space. However in windows, I can only format 2tb's and the last terabyte will not format. I don't even have the option. Is this a limitation of standard edition ( i always thought NTFS had 16tb limit)? Any insight would be appreciated.

    Pretty good, I've been crazy busy going through a massive server upgrade, everything from simple print servers all the way to a new exchange and sql cluster. Exchange beat the living tar out of me. Thank god it's almost done.
