    IWILL KA266-R vr.1.3

Hey there, I have just aquired a KA266-R mobo.Have it up and running w/AMD Athlon 1.3 cpu.I am not familiar w/Iwill brand,my search for their site appears to be fruitless.?? Is anyone able to point me in the direction of latest drivers,or perhaps what company may have bought them out?
    Thanks

What operating system are you planning on using. From the looks of that board you may have to use the default drivers that come with XP if that is the OS you are going to use. I do not think ALi is in the chipset business anymore.

I found this link that seems to give detailed specs of the board http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/iwill/KA266-R.htm but I do not see a webpage for IWill or ALi when I search google that will give information or drivers for that board
At the source of every error which is blamed on the computer, you will find at least two human errors, including the error of blaming it on the computer.

I am running W/2000 C.E. Pro.(I should have included that bit of info).
I have most of my expieriance w/Asus boards, and just recently set up Raid array type 0 on my A7V133 and am impressed w/the speed and stability.
I literally stumbled upon the Iwill board at a swap meet..It was sitting there w/Athlon 1.4 cpu free to whom ever wanted it.I needed the cpu badly, 2 of my cpu's just suddenly died while in storage at my ex's home.(lill strange eh).
Yup a 1.2 and 1.4 T-Bird were spent;for no reason at all-since both systems were unplugged and had been running just fine prior to me disconnecting the power and was in the middle of moving out.But enough of the spilled milk.
Thanks for showing interest and I hope to hear back from you.

    Flextronics Acquires IWILL

SINGAPORE GIANT Flextronics bought Taiwanese server motherboard firm Iwill for an undisclosed sum. Iwill became a member of the Flex Computing division. The reason, according to Iwill, is because there was "very little overlap" between the two firms which have strong integration capabilities.
