When I lived in Austin, there were two or three places in my neighborhood that sold Tooheys. Liked it better than Fosters. Sadly, up here in Bullwind, the import and micro brewery selection ain't so hot.

Try Victoria Bitter in the green can like foster (same company) or Carlton draught..my fave if i have a beer.. geez not in years now....see we give you amercians our shiity fosters to keep you away from the real beers VB is much tastier than fosters..

crown lagers a good boutique aus beer
for a heavier beer coopers sparkling ale is it....

Yeah, Coopers is nice. I've had Coopers on draught, but have never been able to find Tooheys in anything but cans. Have never had VB at all. I'll put it on the wish list for the next time we are Austin, San Antonio, or D.C.
