Post HP Autoloader 1/9: Good, Bad, Ugly?

Has anyone had any experience with an HP Autoloader 1/9? Thinking about buying one in a DLT8000 format.

    Hi,

While I'm not familiar with your particular model, I have used/serviced their 2/24 jukeboxes...I believe their tape mechs are made by Quantum. Nice machines...

As a rule of thumb, anything with an HP logo on it is a good, reliable unit...if you can afford it. Of course, HP stands for High-Priced!

    Good Luck!

Actually, HP "seems" to be pricing things low, agressively, lately, not through their web store, but through wholesalers.
