    Cool DDS Tapes

    Just a quicky -

    Would a DDS-2 Tape Drive read a DDS-3 based tape. I know DDS-3 and DDS-4 are backward compatable. but does it work the other way?

    No. Just like a 720k floppy drive can't read a 1.44M disk.
