This is just too cool!
Ever wanted to make a girl change direction? Well now you can!
Is she moving clockwise or counterclockwise?
I found it on a newsgroup... If you can't figure out how to make her change direction, pm me

Well I'm doing a virus scan with a hog of a scanner so.... she's not spinning as much as she's striking poses. I'll have to check when I get home
OK so it loaded while was typing.... She's going clockwise. I'll explain in a PM so not to ruin it for others.

Why? It's way more fun watching people trying to work it out...

I would like to know what is going on in my mind to make this work. I just showed my wife. We've got it figured out now pretty much to the point where we can switch her at will but what is going on in our brains?

The theory is simple... clockwise you use one side of your brain, counterclockwise is the other. The brain is in two halves. Most people have a dominant side and is usually linked to left or right handedness. now whether that theory is correct is debatable
As far as I am concerned, it's a bit of fun. Learning how to look at an image differently is a good skill... it helps with problem solving and pattern finding I think.

Ah, so which side of one's brain sees her as going clockwise and which side, sees her as going anti-clockwise?
Because one side of my brain's not working, I can only see her, try as I may and reading other people's experience, going clockwise.

Read the article I linked, it has links to the theory.
Try scrolling the pic so you can only see the feet. Now try.
