Welcome to Windrivers francis77
Rebooting is often a sign of a bad driver or hardware.
What windows are you using?
What make and model of computer?

computer
I am using Windows XP SP2 and I have an IBM NetVista Pentium 4 1.6 Ghz. I have installed the Integrated driver from Nvidia, I still have the same problem. I will try other slots too. Thanks for the help.

If a device has to share an irq, it can be problematic. Changing slot will change the resource requirements and hopefully put things right. Do not use the slot nearest the AGP slot (brown) as the 1st PCI slot shares an irq with the AGP slot in most machines.

I/O error
I have plugged my usb hub to that pci card. Then I plugged my usb key to my hub and tried to write to a file on my usb key. I have received an input/output error, the file did not save correctly.

Ah right, most usb keys/thumb drives dislike having to operate via an external hub. If you only have rear usb ports, you are better off getting a small extension cable rather than a hub if you don't want to scrabble down the back of your pc each time.
The other useful item (if your motherboard or pci card supports it) is to get some front usb ports which you install in a 3.5" floppy drive bay or a 5.25" CD drive bay. These talk directly to the motherboard so don't have the problem an external usb hub can have.
